For The Sake of Learning

There have always been those of us who viscerally feel the pleasure of learning... and know it.  Whether it be a new programming language, a new dance step, a new instrument, a new language, how to train a dog.... There is something inherent to our very make up that gives us pleasure in learning.

The Feldenkrais Method® hit that note in me.  Every moment of the work plays on that tantalizing edge of acquisition of something new, something as yet unknown.  It is when you feel the potential, then the magic of something new arising from your very abilities.  And don't forget the telltale trips through the potholes of frustration along the way. Sure signs that you are on the edge of a new acquisition, and that you have the desire to get there!
